I finally got the car to work in the dry and finished a solid 2nd place at the Hill. I just need to find a dry setup for Luxemburg cuz it seems like im gettgin my doors blown off. I will keep working at it and hope to improve this week.
Friday I finished 2nd in the heat and the first half of the feature I couldnt get out of my own way. Between a poor handling car and overdriving it in the corners, I fell back to dead last. I settled in to finish 7th. First time at Seymour in the Stock Car and it was black for the heat race. Didnt have any traction and too much gear. Made changes for the consi and finished 4th but it wasnt enough. Least the first time I didnt make a show it wasnt at Lux or St. Bay.
It was a great weekend racing. Im starting finally get the hang of it. Friday got 3rd in heat and 5th in feature, Saturday I got 3rd in the heat and 8th in the feature.

It was a decent weekend besides the weather. I finished 4th in the heat and 15th in the feature at lux. At the hill i won my heat and finished 11th in the feature with alot of bent parts from the last lap spin by Karcz.
It didnt take long to bring home my first heat win on 2008. It felt good to be in the winner’s circle again. Now I just have to get the feature setup down so I can compete. Im looking to improve each week.
Dave had to run through the gong show on Friday night, but he made his 1st IMCA stock car feature, and pulled off a top 10 finish as well.
Welcome to the new look of DeGraveRacing.com! We are just a few days away from opening up the 2009 season at Luxemburg Speedway on Friday night. Dave will begin his rookie campaign in the IMCA stock car division, after he purchased the White Lightning chassis from Travis Van Straten.
Last season Dave compiled 12 feature victories between Luxemburg Speedway and Thunderhill Raceway, earning track championships at both tracks and also the IMCA hobby stock state points champion honors for the 2nd year in a row.
